Hampton Roads Partnership: The Hampton Roads Partnership is a public-private nonprofit committed to pursuing regional competitiveness for Hampton Roads in a dynamic global economy.

Hampton Roads Research Partnership
: The Hampton Roads Research Partnership is a consortium of seven academic institutions, two federal research and technology laboratories, and a research institute in the Hampton Roads, Virginia.


Hampton Roads Economic Development Alliance: The Hampton Roads Economic Development Alliance (HREDA) promotes Virginia's Hampton Roads as the perfect location for capital investment and business expansion. As the region's lead economic marketing organization, the Alliance aggressively pursues new business opportunities throughout the world.

Hampton Roads Planning District Commission: The Hampton Roads Planning District Commission (HRPDC), one of 21 Planning District Commissions in the Commonwealth of Virginia, is a regional organization representing this area's sixteen local governments.

Hampton Roads Technology Council: The Hampton Roads Technology Council is the technology nerve center for the southeastern region of Virginia named Hampton Roads. Through the following initiatives, this member-driven non-profit organization is transforming the region and its technology companies into world-recognized technology leaders.

Virginia National Defense Industrial Authority: Established during the 2006 Session of the Virginia General assembly to…“Assist impacted Virginia localities in funding needs associated with the implementation and response to the recommendations of the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Commission (BRAC) which were subsequently agreed to by the President and the United States Congress.”

Virginia Office of Commonwealth Preparedness: To ensure a Virginia whose communities, businesses and government are safe, secure and prepared.  To accomplish this, the Office of Commonwealth Preparedness works with federal, state, and local officials, as well as the private sector, to develop a seamless, coordinated security and preparedness strategy and implementation plan. The office also serves as the liaison between the Governor and the federal Department of Homeland Security.
